3 Tips For Transitioning Your Home with Fall Decor

As we enjoy the last few weeks of summer, we begin to see nature transition us towards fall.  If you are like me, you start thinking of warm scents in the house, comfy clothes, and cozy home decor.  Here are 3 easy tips to transition your home for fall.

1. Select a variety of faux flowers in warm tones, add cascading faux leaves, and natural branches to a few focal points in your home such.  Consider adding these stems to porch cans, centerpieces, vintage ice-cream bucket, rustic or galvanized pales or crocks.

2. Cascade a cozy throw over the sofa, your favorite chair, a bench, or bed.  I like to pick blankets in earth-tone colors, neutrals or plaids.  All will bring you the perfect level of cozy as we head into fall.

3. Smell those baked goods (or fake it)!  I love nothing more than selecting a few candles, wax melts, or home oils.  There are so many to pick from, and I gravitate to the baked smells such as hot apple pie, caramel pumpkin, or chai latte.  Something about those warm spices and aromatic scents to give you all the feels of fall.

It's as easy as 1-2-3!  These simple transitions will have your home extra cozy and ready for fall!
